Rally against mosquito menace held

Kuderu (Anantapur): District Collector G Veera Pandian participated in a rally against mosquitos at Aravakur village in Kuderu mandal.
School students, officials and local people participated in the rally dubbed as ‘Domala Pai Dandayatra’. Addressing the participants in the rally, Pandian exhorted the people to keep their surroundings clean.
He said that malaria cases are high in Kuderu and Atmakur mandals. In June alone, 16 malaria cases have been reported from Kuderu.
All village households have toilets except 7 houses. The Collector also visited the SC colony and SC hostel.
He inspected the food being served for the school children and enquired about the children's health.
