SSTPP CSR driving track inaugurated
Simhadri Super Thermal Power Plant (SSTPP) of NTPC in association with the transport department constructed a scientific driving test track at its regional transport office located at Anakapalle.
Visakhapatnam: Simhadri Super Thermal Power Plant (SSTPP) of NTPC in association with the transport department constructed a scientific driving test track at its regional transport office located at Anakapalle.
The purpose of the scientific driving test track is to ensure that all driving licence applicants undergo proper driving tests before issuance of driving licences, the NTPC CSR department said in a release.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility activities, the SSTPP constructed the track at a cost of Rs 10 lakh.
The driving track was inaugurated by the Group General Manager, SSTPP, NTPC, Arupratan Maiti, in the presence of deputy transport commissioner, Visakhapatnam, Dr S Venkateswara Rao, on Saturday.
The Regional Transport Officer, Anakapalle, AH Khan, were present.
