Speed hunter plus, laser cameras inaugurated
District Collector Kona Sasidhar inaugurated speed hunter plus and laser cameras at a programme held at Nallacheruu here on Saturday.
Guntur: District Collector Kona Sasidhar inaugurated speed hunter plus and laser cameras at a programme held at Nallacheruu here on Saturday.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that this camera was useful to check speed up of the vehicles.
Deputy Transport Commissioner GC Rajaratnam explained uses of speed hunter plus and laser cameras.
Speaking on this occasion, Kona Sasidhar said that the government sanctioned Rs 7 lakh through the police and transport department to purchase the cameras.
He said that soon Guntur urban and Guntur rural police will get the cameras which will be used on the highways to check speed of the vehicles.
He stressed on coordination among police and transport department. He suggested to set up special teams to check speed of the vehicles.
Deputy Transport Commissioner GC Raju said that they will impose Rs 1,500 penalty to those who will ride vehicle on high speed on the highways.
