Incessant rain brings respite to pilgrim city

Tirupati: The rain lashed Tirupati on Monday night brought a respite to city residents from the severe heat conditions and the whole day on Tuesday the city wore a cloudy atmosphere with cool breezes.

Due to incessant drizzling of the entire Monday night, several roads in low lying areas have inundated and civic body staff took out relief measures on Tuesday morning.

TTD Choultries near DR Mahal were completely inundated, and the visiting pilgrims found tough time to wade through the war. Even, the vehicles could not be moved from the area for most of the day.
