Parents cautioned against unrecognised colleges

Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) vice-chancellor Prof Murru Mutyala Naidu has advised the students not to join unrecognised colleges and asked the parents to know the details of the college before admitting their children.
Speaking to reporters in his chamber here on Tuesday, he said two colleges were running at Tuni and Eleswaram without affiliation of the university. The AKNU was the biggest in the state with 433 affiliated colleges and one lakh students.
The details of the affiliated colleges are available in university website. He asked the parents and students to go through the website. The university was not responsible, if the students joined non-affiliated colleges, he added.
He appealed to the people to give information to the university, if they have any information relating non-affiliated colleges.
