Kakinada: A multi-disciplinary mega medical camp was organised by ONGC Eastern Offshore Asset, Kakinada in Amalapuram, on July 13.

The camp especially organised for the sanitary staff of the Amalapuram Municipal Corporation and their families.

In all, 600 attended the free medical camp. The camp was part of Swachchta Pakhwada which is being observed at the Asset.

Amalapuram RDO BV Ramana, Chairperson of Amalapuram Municipal Corporation Ch Vinayaka Rao, Municipal Commissioner VVS Bapiraju, ONGC GM-HR A Arumugam, ONGC In-Charge Medical Officer Dr Vimal Kumar and other senior municipal and ONGC officials were present.

Five ONGC doctors led by Dr Vimal Kumar, along with specialist senior doctors from Hope International Hospital, Apollo Hospitals, Sri Kiran Institute of Ophthalmology strived for the success of the camp.

Several medical and social service volunteers like Help Age India, along with ONGC officials, came forward and participated in managing the camp.
