Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs to organise Life Style expo on Aug 3-5

Visakhapatnam: The Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs (COWE)-India and National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) will be organising Life Style Expo-2018 from August 3 to 5 at YMCA Symphony Hall, Beach Road, in the city.

Addressing a media conference here on Wednesday, President of COWE Atluri Subhashini said that the Expo-2018 is an opportunity for rural and urban women entrepreneurs across the country to showcase their creativity and products. During the three days event various seminars will be conducted from 11 am to 1 pm on food processing, fashion technology and government schemes for SMES.

On the last day of the event, women entrepreneurs walk will be conducted at the venue. Women from various business fields can participate by enrolling their names before August 1. COWE India is an ISO 19001-2008 and NABET is certified national organisation active in 10 states with over 1,000 women entrepreneurs, Subhashini said.

COWE Visakhapatnam Chapter President Y Geetasrikanth expressed that an open competition would be held on new business ideas and projects. The best three would be awarded with meritorious certificates, she added.

Secretary of Visakhapatnam Chapter Bharathi said that COWE is an excellent platform for women entrepreneur development and invited all the prospective and existing women entrepreneurs to join COWE.
