Human chain formed in support of no-trust vote

Nellore: Congress leaders staged a protest by organising a human chain at Gandhi Statue here on Friday, expressing their solidarity to the no-trust motion in the Lok Sabha.
Congress city president U Venkata Rao organised the protest. Venkata Rao and senior congress leader CV Sesha Reddy said that the BJP-led NDA government had not considered interests of the state after bifurcation for the last four years failing to accord Special Category Status (SCS) and also assurances mentioned in the AP Reorganisation Act.
They said special status would bring industrial growth and in turn local youth get avenues in industrial units. Congress party extended invitation to all parties to support the no-trust motion. They reiterated that Congress President Rahul Gandhi would grant SCS to the state once the party comes to power. K Raghuram Mudiraj, P Sitarambabu and other Congress leaders were present.
