​Chirala: The Kamakshi Care Hospital organised a free medical camp for the patients suffering from liver problems and gas trouble on their premises in Chirala on Sunday.

B Saikrishna, gastroenterologist from the Pratima Hospital in Guntur participated in the camp and said that alcohol consumption, irregular timing for food, smoking, eating outside adulterated food are the main reasons for gas trouble.

He said that the adulterated oils and eatables damage the intestines and cause constipation, bloating of stomach etc. He advised the people to consume home cooked and hot food and avoid smoking and alcohol.

Tadivalasa Devaraju, MD of the hospital said that they were introducing specialist service on every Sunday for the lever and gas trouble patients. He said that Dr Saikrishna would be available every week to treat the patients.

The hospital conducted tests and distributed medicine for nearly 150 patients for free in the medical camp in which the staff from Pratima Hospital, Guntur also participated.
