Anantapur: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has felicitated District Collector Veera Pandian at his residence in Undavalli on Thursday for his outstanding work as Municipal Commissioner of Vijayawada.
The Chief Minister felicitated Pandian on being recipient of national and international awards for his achievement as the then municipal commissioner along with of other officials, who were also achievers. He placed Vijayawada city in 9th rank in the country by implementing several initiatives.
He was also awarded by Scotland for his smart city governance initiative. His other achievements include solar city, digital door numbering system, integrated online permission development management and for developing the smart city mobile app.
