Vizianagaram: The people of Parvathipuram were shocked when an MLC attacked a person when he questioned about supply of murky water.This incident occurred in the presence of MLA B Chiranjeevulu at Ward No 1 in Jagannathapuram. It is learnt that red coloured murky water is being supplied to the people in the ward for the past few days. The municipal authorities did not take any action though people complained about it.
According to sources, MLC D Jagadeesh, MLA B Chiranjeevulu and others visited the Ward No.1 at Jagannathapuram as a part of TDP Nagara Darsini. The locals surrounded the leaders and raised the issue of supply of muddy water and questioned their negligence. Soon after, Jagadish pushed a local person K Hari and attacked him. This led to a jostle between the locals and TDP leaders.
