Kadapa: Describing no-confidence motion moved by Telugu Desam Party (TDP) against BJP-led NDA government in the Lok Sabha as historic one, TDP district president R Srinivasulu Reddy made it clear that his party would continue the agitation inside and outside of the Parliament till the central government grants Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to media here on Friday, the party district chief said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is very particular in intensifying the agitation against the Modi government. He said YSRCP has no moral right to criticise the TDP as it was responsible for hatching a conspiracy to destabilise the government in the state by joining hands with the BJP.

He mentioned the TDP had received positive response from the public after it moved no-trust motion. He slammed the YSRCP for trying to divert the attention of public by spreading false propaganda. Srinivasulu Reddy stated the government had sanctioned Rs 18 crore for solving drinking water woes in the city and the works concerned would start soon. TDP leaders Venkata Subba Reddy, Zilani Basha and others were present.
