Kurnool: Attracted by the developmental works being carried out the Telugu Desam Party government in the district, several leaders and activists of Congress in Alur constituency joined the ruling party on Monday. TDP leader Veerabhadra Goud welcomed them in a function organised for the occasion.
Goud said around 300 people belonging to Muslim community of various villages in Alur constituency joined the TDP. They were all impressed by the rapid development taking place in Alur constituency, he said.
TDP is the only party in the state which was committed for the welfare of all sections of people, he said. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is striving hard to allocate Rs 100 crore budget to Minority Corporation, Goud added.
