Bapatla: Shaik Sajida and Kamala Alavalapati, students of Sarada Sangitha Nrithya Kalasala, Bapatla gave Kuchipudi dance performance on the premises of famous Sri Bhavanarayanaswamy temple, Bapatla.
It started with the Vinayaka Kowthvam followed by Vinaro Bhagyamu written by Annamayya, Kuchipudi traditional song Brahmanjali, Adigo alladigo again by Annamayya and ended with Krishnam kalayasakhi, tharangam of Narayana Thilrtha.
Organised by Sath Seva Sangham, Bapatla, the programme enthralled the audience.
According to G Venkateswarlu, secretary of Sath Seva Sangham, the classical dance programme will be organised once in every month on the premises of Sri Bhavanarayanaswamy temple where Lakumadevi , 14th century Royal Dancer of Kondaviti Reddy dynasty, thrilled the art lovers with her dance performance.
The programme was started with Jyothi Prajwalanam in which Pillutla Ramamohana Sastri of Sarada Fine Arts Academy, Dr PC Saibabu of Forum for Better Bapatla, D Ramanababu, chairman of Dharmakarthala mandali of the temple, Vakkalagadda Srinivasarao, Thimmana Syamasundar, writer and Aswin Kumar and others participated.
