This teacher’s students score 100 per cent pass at ZP School in Pedavegi

Eluru: An English teacher working in ZP School in Pedavegi mandal has been successfully enrolling students, by bringing awareness in parents on merits of the government school.

She guides parents during the summer vacation and influences them to admit their children in the government high schools.

After securing the admission, she sees to it that the students pass the examinations of Class VI to Class X.

B Nirmala Kumari has been in the teaching field for 24 years now. She has been teaching the students of Class VI to X. For the past nine years, all her students had passed the examination.

She also takes up the various activities to keep the school surroundings clean and green. She planted many saplings in the school premises and developed the garden in the backyard.

Building the kitchen sheds and providing the furniture were some of the other activities she was engaged in all these years.

She organises sports competitions for the students and also distributes the prizes in memory of her parents. She has been working in coordination with the voluntary organisations and the clubs to bring awareness campaign against the child marriages.

She takes initiative and arranges educational tours and the tourist spots. She also works in coordination with the police and the local people’s representatives to hold seminars in the villages.

MLAs Ch Prabhakar and B Bujji have been appreciating her efforts in the student enrolment and improved exam results.
