Ongole: Prakasam district police department received Technology Sabha Award for their e-Verify app at national-level information technology innovation competition by Express Group.

The organisers selected the app from 30 other technical initiatives in the enterprise mobility category.

Special branch inspector Y Srinivasa Rao received the award from J Satyanarayana, adviser to Government of AP in e-Governance, electronics and IT, Srikanth, MD of Express Group, at a function on Friday in Visakhapatnam.

District SP BS Yesubabu congratulated the team and said that the e-Verify already won FICCI and SKOCH awards earlier.
