Yerragondapalem: The government model degree college students in Yerragondapalem started a post card movement demanding the government to provide permanent buildings to their college.

On Monday, the college students wrote letters to the Chief Minister explaining their plight in the temporary rooms. Students A Anil Kumar, K Adam and others said that their college was established in 2008 but with temporary classrooms.

They said that they were dividing classes in the same room with curtains and were struggling with lack of infrastructure including toilets at least. They said that they have brought the issue already to the local MLA, tahsildar, regional joint director and even the collector but there was no response from any of them.

In their letters, the students demanded that the Chief Minister complete the classrooms and college buildings, halted for lack of funds earlier immediately and see their education continue in a peaceful environment and atmosphere.
