Pamarru: RDO Guttula Venkata Satyavani said thousands of freedom-fighters’ sacrifice was the result of Independence to India.
She said that it was the responsibility of everyone to strive for the development of the country which was the dream of Mahatma Gandhi.
She participated in the 72nd Independence Day celebrations here on Wednesday. She flagged off the Tricolour on the occasion and paid floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
In Gudivada, Tricolour was hoisted on Gudivada Sub-division Magisterial Court premises by 11th Additional District Judge Justice G Vallaba Naidu. Later, he offered floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
Junior Civil judge Ch Srinivas Rao, Bar Association president Appaji, Vice-principal Ch Ratnashekar and others were present.
