Rajamahendravaram: Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary on Thursday said Sardar Gowthu Lachhanna was a glaring example for honesty in politics and he was an inspiration to all.
Paying tributes to Lachhanna in connection with his 109th birth anniversary at Y Junction here, he said that he was a great leader and strived for the welfare of the people, mainly for the development of BCs. Lachanna had affiliation with the city for many years in various aspects.
MP Maganti Murali Mohan said Lachanna fought for the wellbeing of BCs and he was a Yodha in BC agitations. City MLA Dr Akula Satyanarayana distributed sarees to poor women on the occasion.
