Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu instructed the officials to address all the grievances by December-end. During a review meeting on Grama Darsini held at the Secretariat on Thursday, Naidu said that already one month was completed in the six months long programme and officials should reach targets within next five months. The officials should fix digital door numbers to all houses in the state in three months, he added.

He said every official should visit villages and urban areas on each Thursday and Friday in a week and collect feedback from people on their problems.

Stating that the officials should prepare a vision document of 2014-2019 by the time of Grama Darsini completion, Naidu asked the officials to improve delivery mechanism for effective implementation of government schemes and programmes.

Currently, there are 5,000 CCTV cameras installed across the state, Naidu said still they have to install at least 30,000 CCTV cameras. Naidu said that he was making efforts to make AP as most liveable state in the country and for that, we have to provide clean air, food and water. Quality power, water, cent per cent LPG connections are being provided in the state, he added.

Stating that the Centre gave only Rs 1,500 crore for the construction of Amaravati in last four years, Naidu said whereas the state government raised Rs 2,000 crore within an hour through Amaravati Bonds.

He said the farmers gave away their lands worth of Rs 50,000 crore unconditionally to the government for the capital city construction and this itself shows the people’s confidence towards the state government.

Naidu said the state economy should reach to 1 trillion dollars by 2029 and our economy strength should raise 7-8 times when compared to the present within next 11 years. The state GSDP is 10.5 per cent at present and this should increase further to 12 per cent for next 11 years, he added.
