Vijayawada: The CPI and CPM will conduct bus yatras across the State in view of the forthcoming elections. CPI State secretary K Ramakrishna and CPM State secretary P Madhu will start their bus yatras in opposite directions.
Madhu will start his bus yatra from Anantapur on August 29 while Ramakrishna will launch his yatra from Visakhapatnam on September 1. The leaders of Jana Sena will also take part in the tours.
After the completion of the yatra, the Left parties would conduct Maha Garjana in Vijayawada city on September 15 with one lakh people. CPM State secretary P Madhu said that the ruling Telugu Desam and Opposition YSR Congress failed in their roles.
He criticised the Telugu Desam for failing to fulfill its promises during the last four years. He alleged that the Opposition YSR Congress had colluded with the BJP to protect its self-interests.
