Congress leader attempts suicide during meeting in Vijayawada

Congress leader Sivachary attempted suicide in Vijayawada on Thursday over not getting Nellore Rural Constituency Incharge responsibility. In a meeting held by the Congress Assembly Constituency Coordination in a private hotel in Vijayawada, Oommen Chandy & Raghuveera Reddy and other state leaders were seen in attendance.

When Raghuveera Reddy was addressing the meeting, Nellore Congress leader Sivachary attempted to end his life by consuming pesticide. But the police officials stationed at the meeting stopped Sivachary from the act and took him away from the meeting.
