Accommodation regulated for donors in Tirumala

Tirumala: In an effort to cope with the heavy rush expected during Brahmotsavams this year, the TTD decided to regulate the accommodation facilities being provided to donors of cottages. Accordingly, accommodation booking is enabled only through online for the donors. The booking option will not be made available for others in Cottage Donor Management Scheme(CDMS) during the two Brahmotsavams i.e. providing accommodation on the recommendation of donors.

Even for self- donors, the booking option is not allowed from September 15 to 17 and also from October 12 to 14 in view of Garuda Seva during thetwo Brahmotsavams as the pilgrim turnout will be veryhigh during these days. Donors who have single room or two rooms in a same buildingare permitted to avail accommodation in any of the two days continuouslyonce at a time avoiding the blockage of dates and similarly the self- donors who have more than two rooms can avail two rooms continuously once at a time only avoiding blockage dates keeping in view the Garuda Seva, says a press release from TTD here on Saturday. The donors are requested to make note of the above changes made by TTD in view of annual brahmotsavams and co-operate with the management.
