Vijayawada: Kuchipudi dance performed by Dr Aparna Prasad and her troupe was organised by CCVA and Srinivasa farms jointly as part of Natya Sravanti monthly dance series at the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati (CCVA) on Thursday.

The dance mesmerised the audience and lulled to spell bound. Inaugurating the dance programme, K Satyanarayana, Director General, AP State Disaster Response and Fire Services, who was the chief guest, said that Dr Aparna Prasad excelled in both rhythm and moment coupled with Abhinaya Chaturya.

The invocation was offered to Ganesa (Ganesayadheemahi) followed by Endaromahanubhavulu, Akhilandeswari, Nandabalam, Bho-Sambho, Kotteduta Vaikuntham (Ammamayya Kirtana), all in mixed ranges and fusion Dr Aparna showcased different moods, dance sequences and charming formations.

The programme was attended by Kalaratna Bhagavatula Srirama Sarma, founder, Sri Sairam Nritya Academy, GuduruVenkata Hanumantha Rao, Director, Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Co-Operative Credit Society Limited and Upasaka Subhakar Medasani, Secretary, Amaravati Buddha Vihara, Sandeep Mandava, CEO of the Malaxmi Property, Dr E Sivanagi Reddy, CEO, CCVA are the guests of honour.
