Rajamahendravaram: All India Lawyers Association (AILA) state president and Andhra Pradesh Bar Council executive member Mupalla Subba Rao has condemned the Central government's argument in Apex Court, relating to setting up of High Court for Andhra Pradesh in Hyderabad separately, in the same building or in another building.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Thursday, Subba Rao said the division bench of High Court in the united AP state had given a judgement on May 1st, 2015 stating that the High Courts should be in their respective states. But, after three years, now the Central government is raising doubts on it in the Supreme Court which is not correct, he stated.

The state government has assured to complete the construction of High Court buildings by January 2019 and why the Central government is raising doubts is a million dollar question, he said. The Central government's arguments are creating doubts among the people in the state about the setting up of High Court in AP, he pointed out.

The people and lawyers of Andhra Pradesh have demanded the Central government to set up High Court in Andhra Pradesh many a time but in vain. The lawyers and people of AP will launch an agitation again, if the Central government creates hurdles to set up High Court in the state by citing various reasons, he warned.
