Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh IT Minister N Lokesh on Friday said the entire drama that took place in Hyderabad by TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao went well according to the script written by the saffron party at the Centre.

However, the decision to end the term of Telangana House prematurely had pained him and felt that the Assembly should have been allowed to complete its full 5-year term. "KCR's decision was wrong,"

Lokesh added, at an informal interaction with media persons on Friday at his chambers in AP Assembly. He said that KCR had failed to explain the reasons for dissolving the Assembly. The TDP leader observed that no development took place in Telangana during the last four-and-a-half years.

Instead of developing the state, KCR pushed it into deep trouble, he said, adding: "Telangana is a surplus budget state when compared to Andhra Pradesh. But its debts are a whopping Rs 2 lakh crore." On the other hand, despite revenue deficit, lack of financial resources and support from the Centre, the AP government had been performing very well on all parameters.

"Mission Bhagiratha is a failure. KCR did not create any new jobs, as he had promised on the occasion of 2014 elections. He failed in providing water security.
