Godavari Sailing Expedition reaches Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: Godavari Sailing Expedition team reached Rajamahendravaram here on Monday. The team started its expedition in Bhadrachalam on September 5 to reach its destination Samalkot on September 12.

The team, after sailing in River Godavari crossing many points, reached Devipatnam on Septmber 9. Deputy director-general Air Commodore N N Reddy flagged off the expedition at Bhadrachalam.

The NCC cadets observe administration day (break day) on Tuesday and they visit important local places. On September 12, they leave for Samalkot and participate in Flag In ceremony scheduled to be held on September 15. NCC cadets conduct the expedition every year to know new things and gain experience.
