Rajamahendravaram: Karnataka State Commission for Backward Classes former chairman Dr C S Dwarakanath has said that it will be easy to capture power in the state if the BCs, SC/STs and Minority communities work with Kapus unitedly.

Addressing the gathering at Rajakeeya Chaitanya Vedika held in Chamber of Commerce building here on Sunday, Dwarakanath said there was no wrong if the remaining communities extend support to Kapus if they take a lead role in capturing power in the state.

In Karnataka state, he said the BC communities were marching ahead under the leadership of Madiga community. He said only two communities were ruling Andhra Pradesh since six decades due to lack of unity among BC communities.

In Karnataka state many BC leaders became Chief Ministers because of unity among themselves, he said and added in Tamil Nadu, the government has been implementing 69 per cent reservations.

Everyone should also consider about Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan who is trying to impress the people, he said and called upon all the Kapus to be united to capture power in the state. MLA Dr Akula Satyanarayana, Kapu Reservation Porata Samithi founder S G Rama Rao and noted lawyer Muppalla Subba Rao were present.
