Guntur: BJP state president Kanna Lakshminarayana said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is insulting courts for issuing NBW against him.

Speaking to media persons at his residence in Guntur on Monday, after cutting the cake on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi birthday, He said that the Chief Minister has failed to attend the court, that is why NBW was issued against him. He felt that it is not correct to criticise BJP government in Maharashtra and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for issuing NBW.

Kanna Lakshminarayana said that TDP leaders have not been attending Dharmabad court in connection Babli Project case since March 11, 2016, that is why the court issued NBW against him. He further said they are taking advice to proceed legally against the Chief Minister for linking NBW with BJP government.

He reminded that Congress government in Maharastra filed cases against Chief Minister Chandrababu and other TDP leaders in 2010 for protesting against construction of Babli Project. He criticised that the TDP is not in position to face elections and playing politics.
