Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the BJP leaders were making baseless criticism against the state government regarding Personal Deposit accounts, though AP is the number one state in the country in ensuring transparency in maintaining public transactions through CFMS.
During a short duration discussion on Real Time Governance, integration of technology in administration in Assembly on Tuesday, the Chief Minister stated that BJP leaders even did not know what were the PD Accounts, but were criticisingthe state government.
In the entire country, AP is the only state which brought all the accounts under one roof, called CFMS. From dash board, we can monitor each and every transaction of state government through CFMS, he explained.
“Technology brings transparency, transparency brings accountability, accountability brings good governance, which enhances public trust on government,’’ he said.
Chandrababu Naidu said that the state government has been giving priority for ease of living and citizen satisfaction using convergence of technology..
Describing the functioning of RTG the Chief Minister said that government has been implementing public distribution system to 1.2 crore families successfully using Aadhar enabled technology for the first time in India. Government has been implementing digitisation of land records through Bhudar project to prevent tampering of land records.
The Chief Minister said that the state government introduced AP Fiber grid, which is an innovation. “We are giving 15 mbps internet with more than 200 Television Channels, video conference facility and other services at just Rs 150, this is cheapest service across the country”, he added He said government plans to bring 793 services under e-Pragati project to make all the services online.
By using technology the state government plans to bring revolution in agriculture sector too. Technology is being used for better water management, rain water harvesting.
He explained on evolution of technology in governance and said that the AP government was the first state to synchronize Aadhaar with all welfare schemes in the country.Further the e-office will enable ministers and officials to clear the files quickly.
NREGA was a convergence success story and 23 departments converged in it and every department was performing very well, explained Chandrababu Naidu. He said that 14 awards were achieved in NREGA because of using technology. In ensuring transparency and using technology, AP stood at number one in the country, according to the Union government, he mentioned.
State government enumerated more than 4.4 crore people till date. PrajaSadhikara Survey Dashboard cannot be tampered, he said. All land records are being modernised with the help of Land Hub.
Happiness Index 2018: AP stood at 74 rank in 2017 and achieved 44 rank in 2018 whereas the India’s rank was 122 in 2017 and dripped to 133 in 2018, Chandrababu Naidu explained. He said that AP was the only state which had been speaking about Happiness in the country. He flayed that the opposition leaders were blaming even HappySunday programme also.
