Visakhapatnam: An eight-year-old girl died on the spot when a speedy garbage dumping lorry belonging to GVMC hit her when she was crossing the road at Marikavalasa near Madhurwada on Friday. According to police, the girl was identified as K Hasini of Rajeev Gruha Kalapana Housing Complex, Marikavalasa.
Hasini came out of home to purchase chocolates nearby shop and while returning to home the GVMC vehicle hit her. The PM Palem police rushed to the spot and taken the driver into custody and registered a case. The body was sent to KGH for post-mortem.
