Guntur: Principal Secretary and Intermediate Education Commissioner B Udaya Lakshmi handed over a cheque for Rs 8.8 lakh to the deceased contract lecturer Bhaskara Chary's wife Parvathi at her chamber in the Secretariat on Monday. Bhaskara chary who worked in a government junior college on contract basis, got kidney problem and died recently.
Contract Lecturers Association state vice-president A Srinivasa Rao posted this matter in WhatsApp. Responding to his posting, the junior lecturers working in various government colleges extended financial assistance of Rs 8.8 lakh.
Government Junior Colleges Principals Association state president Yerraiah was also present.
