Sports meet today, tomorrow in Vijayawada
The District Sports Promotion Committee DPSC would organise Food Corporation of India, South Zone Inter Regional Sports Meet2018 at DRR Municipal Indoor Stadium from October 11 and 12 under the aegis of Regional Sports Promotion Committee RPSC, Hyderabad and Zonal Sports Promotion Committee ZPSC, Chennai, according to District Sports Promotion Committee Area Manager B Ranga Prasad Naik
Vijayawada: The District Sports Promotion Committee (DPSC) would organise Food Corporation of India, South Zone Inter-Regional Sports Meet-2018 at DRR Municipal Indoor Stadium from October 11 and 12 under the aegis of Regional Sports Promotion Committee (RPSC), Hyderabad and Zonal Sports Promotion Committee (ZPSC), Chennai, according to District Sports Promotion Committee Area Manager B Ranga Prasad Naik.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, B Ranga Prasad Naik said a total of five teams from five regions of FCI, south zone, Andhra Pradesh Region, Karnataka Region, Kerala Region, Tamil Nadu Region and Zonal Office Chennai would challenge among themselves in the events table tennis, badminton and caroms (Singles and Doubles, Men and Women) category.
The chief guest of the event will be B Rajasekhar, Special Chief Secretary to Government of Andhra Pradesh, Agriculture and Cooperation department and Shiny Wilson, FCI ZO (S), said Naik.
