MLA Dr Akula Satyanarayana visits fasting RMC workers in Rajahmundry

Rajamahendravaram: MLA Dr Akula Satyanarayana visited the venue of relay hunger strike of municipal corporation workers here on Friday.

The workers have been fasting for one week, demanding that the government fulfill their justifiable demands immediately.

Later, the MLA assured the agitating workers to take their problem to the notice of the officials to sort out the problem and underlined the need to resolve the issue amicably.

He said the government should consider the demands of municipal sanitation works and at the same time the agitating workers should put in efforts to stop the agitation.

BJP leaders N Padmasri, LB Sastry and others were present.
