Police organise blood donation camp in Eluru

Eluru: A blood donation camp was organised as part of police commemoration week at Police Kalyana Mandapam here on Tuesday.

Superintendent of Police M Ravi Prakash, after inaugurating the camp, said that the police had been sacrificing their lives just like soldiers at borders.

The cops, including Grayhounds, had been sacrificing their lives in their fight against leftwing extremists who were our internal enemies, he said.

He explained various competitions being held during the week for the students. He briefed them about the significance of blood donation which saves many lives.

Fans of different cine heroes, auto drivers, students and others also donated blood on the occasion.
