Bobbili (Vizianagaram): YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy assured that he would definitely support the sugarcane farmers if he comes to power by ensuring remunerative price.
On Tuesday, sugarcane farmers met him and explained how they were being exploited by the companies. Jagan continued his Padayatra in Bobbili constituency of Vizianagaram district.
He covered Lakshmipuram, Badangi, Mugada and Golladi villages. Some teachers who are still working in Telangana expressed their unhappiness and asked Jagan to bring them to their native State.
Unemployed youth alleged that though there are thousands of vacancies in schools, the State government is not filling those teacher posts. Locals of Golladi village alleged that RVSK Rangarao has defected into TDP and became minister for his personal gains but he didn't stand on his assurances on building a bridge on Vegavathi river.
The employees of 104 services complained that their services are not being recognised and they are not being paid salaries so far. Members of private teachers association also met him and appealed to him to understand their professional problems and explained how they are being used by the managements like bonded labour.
Jagan assured that he would protect their jobs and said that he would bring a Special Educational Act to protect private teachers. Locals of China Bheemavaram said that their village was totally ignored by the government and that they don't have drinking water, roads and not even a graveyard with road connectivity.
