Kadapa: The Dharma Poorata Deeksha of chief minister N.Chandra Babu naidu which was scheduled to be held on 20th October in Proddaturu town has been postponed to 30th as the venue where the CM proposed to perform the programme totally get wet due occurrence of heavy rains for the last two days.

After inspecting the ground position and other arrangements at the venue on Friday along with Rajya Sabha member CM Ramesh, marketing minister C.Adinarayana Reddy has told the media persons after securing reports from the police administration it was decided to postponed the programme in view of convenient of public participating in large numbers in the event. He said that DPD is going to conduct without fail on 30th October as elaborate arrangements are being made accordingly.

Replying to the questions raised by media persons over the delay taking place in establishing steel unit in Kadapa district Rajya Sabha member CM Ramesh said that union steel ministry is ‘repeating old song’ song by saying that there was no clarity in the Mecon report submitted to the Steel Authority of India (SAIL). He recalled that during the discussions with union steel minister Chowdary Beerendra Singh week days ago said central government will take decision only after satisfying the details related to the provision of infrastructure facilities including availability of iron ore. The Rajya sabha member said despite state government has submitted the reports as per the requirements of SAIL, but repeatedly demanding the same as there was no clarity in the rulers over the issue. Party district president R.Srinivasulu Reddy and others were present.
