Vijayawada: With the initiative taken by the State and Central governments, the girls and women across the state were given training in Bridal Fashion Photographic Makeup Artist (BFPMA) and Apparel Fashion Designer (AFD). International training was provided to the educated unemployed youth on Sous-Chef and Baking Technician.

About 30 women and girl students completed international training on Bridal Fashion Photographic Makeup Artist course and about 15 students were placed as makeup artist at a reputed organisation.
About 30 students were undergoing training at BFPMA besides 60 students were given training in AFD by international trainers from Singapore, said Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK) centre head P Sowbhagya Rani.
Speaking to The Hans India, she said that the State government was spending Rs 33,000 on each candidate, who are being trained in BFPMA and AFD and other courses and was providing free accommodation to them. She said the State government was also imparting training to the MBA and engineering students in the Empowering NexGen Applied Business Leadership and Employability Skills (ENABLE) under the APSSDC.
She recalled that 180 students were trained in ENABLE at the Chalapathi Institute of Technology Guntur by Synchro Serve. APSSDC would start ENABLE programme at Loyola College and other institutions in the Vijayawada soon.
She said the Singapore government was giving international certificate to students, who are trained in BFPMA, AFD, and ENABLE. She said interested eligible candidates could contact 95508 53636 / 95508 33636 for details of training programme.
Harika, Karimoon and others who were undergoing training in AFD at PMKK spoke to The Hans India and expressed their satisfaction on the high standards training given at the centre.
