Rajamahendravaram: Deputy Chief Minister Nimmakayala China Rajappa on Wednesday hoped that the grand alliance (Maha Kutami) will win the Assembly elections in the Telangana state as the people are in favour of it.

Speaking to reporters here, he said the victory of grand alliance was confirmed in the elections. Unable to digest this, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is criticising Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to get mileage in the Telangana state and blaming him for each and everything, he pointed out.

He said that the BJP leaders Ram Madhav and GVL Narasimha Rao were trying to tarnish the image of Chandrababu Naidu by levelling false allegations and supporting the YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy, who colluded with the BJP.

Stating that the BJP and YSRCP are hampering the development of the state, he said the strength of Chief Minister will be increased with the allegations made by the duo and the people are not ready to believe them.

He said the BJP along with the YSRCP is trying to suppress the TDP. But the entire state was behind the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, he added. Stating that the government will also investigate the statement given by accused Srinivasa Rao, who attacked YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who alleged that he was having threat to his life.

The state government is investigating the case with accountability and transparency though YSRCP president Jaganmohan Reddy did not lodged a complaint so far in this regard, he pointed out. The government is very much particular to book the persons who are behind the screen in this incident, he averred and added but the YSRCP president Jagan is trying to get mileage with this incident.
