Awareness drive to prevent accidents

Bhimavaram: The police in Veeravasaram mandal have been organising awareness drive to lessen road accidents. The police have been warning vehicle users on harsh punishments and heavy fines for violating rules. They concentrated on national highway for taking up the drive.

Sub-Inspector Srinivasa Rao and his team are working hard to educate road users on possible dangers for ignoring road rules. They have been explaining the vehicle riders on necessity of wearing helmet and tightening seat belt to minimise injuries at the time of accidents. They have been explaining the vehicle riders on the incidents involving road deaths at this road safety drive, which started giving positive results for the police.
