Awareness meet on biotechnology held
An awareness programme was organised for the students of B Pharmacy and Pharm D of KVSR Siddhartha College of Pharmaceutical Sciences on BioTechnology on the college premises here on Tuesday
Vijayawada: An awareness programme was organised for the students of B Pharmacy and Pharm D of KVSR Siddhartha College of Pharmaceutical Sciences on Bio-Technology on the college premises here on Tuesday. The resource person of the awareness programme was Annoor Envirochem and professor of Food Analytical Laboratory Dr Lavu Padma Sudha Rani.
Speaking on the occasion, Sudha Rani said that there was a vast growth in the field of Bio-Technology and useful for manufacturing Antibiotics, Dextran, Sutures, Vaccines, Insulin for Diabetic Type-I, Alcohol, Citric Acid and others. She said that the students should have good command on the subject which would fetch jobs in the Bio-Technology field, she added. The college principal Dr G Devala Rao, Annoor Labs manager Dr K Manohar, Swarna Suvarna, Triveni, college faculty, students and others were present.
