Nellore: Agriculture Minister SomireddyChandramohan Reddy said the State government is planning to deposit Rs8,000 Cr in farmers accounts as part of fourth and fifth installments of loan waiver and also explained that they will be organising review meetings with officials to face drought situation in the district.
Minister Somireddy along with Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana visited special medical camp organised at Venkatachalam to provide medical services to the differently abled persons.
Chandramohan Reddy said that they are giving kits to the differently abled persons in December. Minister Narayana praised efforts of Minister Somireddy for organising special medical camp for the differently abled persons.
Both the Ministers observed the proposed site for construction of Park in Naidupeta town. They also interacted with the TDP leaders in the town. Ministers Somireddy and Narayana appealed to the TDP leaders and cadre to make the Dharma PorataDeeksha on 20 in Nellore city a successful event.
Further, Agriculture Minister said that they were taking measures to provide financial support to the fishermen in the district. Minister interacted with the fishermen community people at a private function hall here in the city on Friday.
Speaking at the meeting, the he said that they would be shortly starting works of fishing harbor at Juvvaladinne. He also informed that they would inaugurate hospital at Kodur in TP Gudur mandal with latest equipment.
‘We will take measures to support the fishermen who lost their livelihood due to the pipelines arranged by the NCC plant. Discuss with the CP Hatchery to reduce price of seed also. We would also provide basic amenities especially in fishermen colonies across the district,’ said Minister. NUDA Chairman K Srinivasulu Reddy and others were present.
