Cell Culture lab inaugurated at SRM University in Amaravati
The newly established Cell Culture Laboratory at SRM University in Amaravati was inaugurated by its Pro Vice Chancellor Prof D Narayana Rao on Wednesday Speaking on this occasion, he said that the university was motivating the faculty to establish many such research centres in their areas of expertise and interesting fields and added that the management will provide necessary funds to set up
​Guntur: The newly established ‘Cell Culture’ Laboratory at SRM University in Amaravati was inaugurated by its Pro- Vice- Chancellor Prof D Narayana Rao on Wednesday. Speaking on this occasion, he said that the university was motivating the faculty to establish many such research centres in their areas of expertise and interesting fields and added that the management will provide necessary funds to set up such laboratories envisioning to transform the university as one of the leading international research hub in the field of science and technology.
He said that many more such research labs in the campus would be set up very soon and at the same time, he also announced that one more laboratory on “Genome Research” will be inaugurated soon. He further said that eight research laboratories will be established in the next one year at the university.Prof Narayana Rao congratulated Dr Anil K Suresh, principal investigator of the Cell Culture Laboratory who is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Biotechnology to take initiative in establishing this lab.
