Novotel Hotel to be opened on Sunday

Vijayawada: Paris-based AccorHotels is going to open its brand Novotel Hotel which is expected to get five-star deluxe rating in the city by joining hands with city-based Varun Group headed by Vallurupalli Prabhu Kishore. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will formally inaugurate the hotel situated at Bharati Nagar on the ring road in the heart of the city on Sunday.
In all likelihood, the Tourism Ministry might allot Five Star Deluxe rating to the hotel keeping in view the facilities available on the premises, avers Vallurupalli Prabhu Kishore. Addressing the media on Friday in connection with the inauguration of the hotel on Sunday, Prabhu Kishore said that Novotel Varun Beach hotel at Visakhapatnam has been given the rating of Five Star Deluxe, which is first of its kind in the State and the same would hopefully be given to Novotel Varun Vijayawada.
The 11-storied Novotel Vijayawada Varun, which is claimed to be a green building, contains 202 rooms and 25 service sections, 10,000 sft banquet hall, four dining halls, Novotel signature spa, fitness centre and to top it all, there is 202 metres jogging track on the top of the hotel at a height of 45 ft which is unique, he said.
