Vijayawada: A 70-kilogram Christmas fruit cake mixing was held at PVP square mall here on Friday. Dried cherries, dried mango, dried cranberries, dried currants, chopped candied citron, dark rum, butter, packed brown sugar badam, pista, akrot, cherry, resin and other ingredients were mixed.
The mixture would be kept for 14 days and the cake would be prepared on the eve of Christmas, said mall manager Ch Ajay Babu and Seven Days bakery director Phani.
Mall operators, customers and youth participated in the cake mixing programme.
