Kakinada: Senior TDP leader and former Kakinada city unit president Sunkara Tirumala Kumar said that the TDP will win more number of seats in AP in the Assembly polls in 2019.
Addressing the party cadre here on Sunday, the senior leader quoted that the TD's vote bank is intact in several areas along the Andhra-Telangana border in Khammam and Bhadrachalam districts.
He quoted that because of this, the people’s front almost swept these two areas and won majority of seats in these two districts.
Tirumala Kumar said that the TD won only two seats in Telangana due to different reasons. One of them is Chandrababu Naidu had to carry the entire burden of electioneering on behalf of entire front as he is the only star campaigner in the front.
Various welfare schemes and developmental activities will pave way for TD's success in the next elections in AP, the TD leader asserted.
