Lokesh opens AP Online Development Centre, assures expansion of services

Vijayawada: Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj Nara Lokesh inaugurated the Development Centre of APOnline here on Wednesday. On this occasion, Lokesh appreciated the role and efforts of AP Online in leveraging digital technologies for various initiatives in the State.
He said that the State government offers excellent talent pool and a commendable eco system. He assured further expansion of the AP Online in the State. He said that the State is progressing in using technology due to the vision of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
The Minister also said that the APOnline would play a key role in the construction of Amaravati capital. The technology is being utilised for all the constructions in Amaravati capital city, he said.
He said that the State is top in IT and Panchayat Raj and Rural Development. He said that all the services were made easier with AP Online. He reiterated that the works of all departments could be coordinated under the AP Online system.
On this occasion, AP Online Director V Rajanna donated a cheque for Rs 1.11 crore to Nara Lokesh for Ananda Lahari Abhyasana scheme. The funds would help to introduce digital classrooms in schools, Rajanna said. Several officials were also present.
