Vijayawada: The APSRTC BC Employees Association elected their new state committee members on the occasion of APSRTC BC Welfare Association state meeting here on Thursday.
The members of the association from across the 13 districts participated in the programme and unanimously elected the committee members. AP BC JAC president Buddha Nageswara Rao was elected as honorary president of APSRTC BC Employees Association on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Nageswara Rao said that the newly elected members should collectively strive for the rights of the employees and strengthen the SC, Minority and the BC employees to transform into a strong force.
He said that the problems of the RTC employees were taken to the notice of the management to resolve the problems and do justice, he said and thanked the members for electing as honorary president.
Honorary guest of the programme and APSRTC executive director (Admin) A Koteswara Rao said it is the responsibility of all the employees to safeguard the organisation.
He said there would be difference between the private and government organisation and justice would be rendered to all the government organisations.
He said that any problems faced by the SC, ST, BE and Minority employees can bring the issue to his notice and would do justice to the employee, he added.
The newly elected president of the association was K Radhakrishna, the other members were P Bhushana Rao, D Venkatapathi, Ch Balakrishna, B Kedareswara Rao, KS Prasad, SK SaidabiSV Seshagiri Rao and other were elected on the occasion. A dairy was released on the occasion.
