Srikakulam: YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy maintains that TDP government is giving excess publicity to real time governance (RTG) through the media. Jaganmohan Reddy conducted Pada Yatra in Tekkali Assembly segment and addressed a public meeting at Tekkali on Saturday.
On the occasion, he said that RTG is not helpful to know ground level facts and Titli cyclone relief works and payment of compensation are best example for that, but yellow media which is in Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s hands giving excess publicity to it. He questioned why Chandrababu failed to cancel GO issued to start Kakarapalli Thermal Power Plant as he had assured during elections. Power supply will be affected in 51 villages in Tekkali segment. He alleged that Minister for Transport K Atchannaidu illegally allotted Rs 5 crore worth RTC site to his benamis without following rules.
The YSRCP chief also pointed out that government is planning to acquire excess land than required to allot it to private firms illegally in the name of Bhavanapadu sea port. He also lamented that TDP leaders are demanding Rs 3000 as bribe in villages for sanctioning of toilets and also selling even anganwadi posts. Jagan crossed 3,500 KM distance in his Padayatra at Ravivalasa village in Tekkali segment where he unveiled a flag and planted a sapling to mark a memory. He also visited relay hunger stir camp of MetCore Ferroalloys company workers at Dharma Neealpuram and expressed his solidarity to their fight. Giddaluru former MLA, Anna Venkata Rambabu joined YSRCP in the presence of Jaganmohan Reddy in Tekkali along with his followers.
