Kadapa: Member of Rajya Sabha CM Ramesh has urged the party activists to strive hard in bringing TDP to power in 2019 general elections as there will be need of completing several projects like constriction of capital city, interlinking of rivers, completion of Polavaram projects, continuation of welfare schemes and developmental activities.
Addressing party functionaries meeting at Jammalamadugu town on Tuesday he said despite central government ignored to establish the steel plant, chief minister is committed to start the ‘S’ plant in the interest of providing employment to the thousands of local youth. He said that oppositions parties hatching conspiracy to restrict the establishment of steel plant as they are planning to restore the ‘Brahmani Steels’ which had become defunct due to various reasons.He said Chandra Babu naidu was responsible in bringing water to Kadapa district through completion of Gandikota Reservoir.
He said in this circumstances party functionaries should play crucial role to check that efforts in various ways. He said Government is contemplating to construct port at Ramayapatnam in Prakasam district. Former Jammalamadugu former MLA P.Ramasubba Reddy urged that party activists should extend their support to the government for continuation welfare programmes and developmental schemes as it will not possible in bringing them at grass route level without intervention party functionaries. He said that chief minister is laying foundation stone for the establishment of steel plant in Kambala Dinne village on 27th December. Party leaders Giridhar Reddy, Ramana Reddy, CM Suresh Naidu and others were present.
Meanwhile in view of chief minister visit, district collector CH.Harikiran along with SP Abhi Sheak Mohanthy inspected the arrangements in Kambala Dinne village on Tuesday.
